1. Terms of Service

These Terms of Use are intended to set forth the conditions and procedures for using all services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by HelloMessage (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and its members.

2. Definition of Terms

  • "Service" refers to all services provided by the Company through the HelloMessage app and website.
  • "Member" refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement with the Company and uses the services provided by the Company.
  • "Account" refers to the email address and password set by the member for identification and service use.

3. Formation of Service Agreement

The service agreement is formed when a person who wishes to become a member (hereinafter referred to as "applicant") agrees to the terms and conditions and submits membership information according to the membership form set by the Company, and the Company approves such application.

4. Provision and Change of Services

The Company provides the following services:

  • Message scheduling and sending services through various messaging platforms
  • Message template creation and management services
  • Contact and group management services
  • All other services that the Company additionally develops or provides to members through partnerships with other companies

The Company may change the content of services without prior notice to improve service quality, and in this case, the changed service content and provision date will be announced.

5. Service Fees

The services provided by the Company are basically free. However, certain specific services may be provided for a fee, and in such cases, the Company will notify members of the fees for those services in advance.

The payment method for paid service fees is subject to the methods provided by the Company, and if a member uses a paid service, they are deemed to have agreed to pay the fee for that service.

6. Member Obligations

Members shall not perform the following acts:

  • Using another person's information
  • Using the services provided by the Company to perform acts prohibited by law or these terms
  • Using information obtained through the service for commercial purposes without the Company's prior consent, or allowing a third party to use it
  • Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of the Company or a third party
  • Publishing or posting information related to criminal acts, obscenity, violence, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the service

7. Company Obligations

The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or contrary to public order and morals, and shall make its best efforts to provide continuous and stable services.

The Company shall have security systems in place for members to safely use the services and shall publish and comply with the privacy policy.

8. Restriction and Suspension of Service Use

The Company may restrict or suspend service use in the following cases:

  • Unavoidable circumstances due to maintenance of service equipment
  • When a telecommunications service provider designated by the Telecommunications Business Act discontinues telecommunications service
  • When a member violates these terms or interferes with the normal operation of the service
  • Other cases of force majeure

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between the Company and members shall be resolved in accordance with relevant laws such as the Basic Act on Electronic Commerce, the Digital Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the dispute resolution standards set by the Company.

10. Other Matters

Matters not specified in these terms shall be governed by the provisions of the Telecommunications Business Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other relevant laws.

These terms are effective from January 1, 2025.
